connect the country to all the countries of the world.

Costa Rica increases its connections to the Internet
Costa Rica has increased its Internet capability once again by
acquiring a connection to submarine cable CFX-1 which augments
the country's overall capacity by 15%.
This follows the recent hook up to the Pacific Ocean "Global
Crossing" cable about a month ago.
With the addition of the CFX-1 submarine cable, Costa Rica has 4
redundant submarine connections to the Internet. Arcos, Maya,
and CFX-1 in the Caribbean and "Global Crossing" in the Pacific.
